That's like saying Derrick Henry is better than Walter Payton. Which he is if the 1985 Payton is suddenly playing in 2021.

Players and boxers get better, stronger, faster as the years go by.

It's hard to compare eras.

To name the GOAT, you have to compare how great players were in their Era only.

Tyson could have knocked Ali out, but it would have to be in the first rounds or he would be toast.

If that left from Frazier in the 14th round couldn’t knock him out, then nothing Tyson had could.

Ali was knocked down a couple of times AND stole a decision (the way he always seemed to do when I was a kid) BEFORE he won the title.

Thing is, the guy who took it to a decision figured out how to fight Ali (punch when he punches) and the knockdowns were soft. A man with Tyson's power could have gotten the job done. I'm talking early Ali.
