So basically he is saying the ACC runnerup is getting in over the Big 12 Champ. Not going to happen. ACC and Big 12 will each get 1 only.

I could see the ACC with multiple teams in.
Even though the playoffs are expanded to 12 teams, only four or 5 have a realistic chance of winning it all.

They really were not unbeaten...just bought...the pickers thought they were a poor choice and that turned out to be true...when the Roman's hired the Huns to guard their flanks, th3y quit when the Germans showed up...kinda like the injuns...mercenaries are never a good choice...at least jawja got to play the Waterboys and everyone else! Committee got it right!

A fifth is definitely possible. Can we really name 7 other teams that are better?
I know we love to think there’s a conspiracy but at the very least 3 of the best 12 teams are in the SEC this year. It could easily be 4 or 5 or even 6. So I wouldn’t be surprised or shocked to see 5 get in.

I see Sec getting 5, b10 4, ACC 1, big12 1 and g5 1. That’s just going to be the damnable shame of it. They have set it in play for years and they now allow the sec to rule sports regardless of which teams are the best. I have always thought there are 2-3 maybe 4 teams in a conference who can compete. Most conferences have two very goods teams. Then in a given year there may be 2-3 teams I the country who are championship worthy. That goes for each and every conference sec and b10 included. I don’t think there is a powerhouse conference more deserving of extra spots. That is a esecpn created narrative.

ou and texas to get them into the sec. they wanted a bigger playoff with more sec teams in for more money. which is another thing about the lawsuit with fsu and clemson suing to get out of the sec. espn has us tied to a contract all the while giving the other conference they are tied to all of the marbles and handcuffing the acc teams at every turn.

A 9-3 SEC team will get in over a 10-2 ACC/Big 12 team any day of the week and given the right schedule and quality wins, it could even go to 8-4. This is why it is critical for us to get out of the ACC ASAP.
