Injury bug hurting him

All the scouts know that he has health issues. It didn't help that he could not participate in the Clemson pro day due to injury either. He did get to work out for some scouts earlier this month but hopefully he lands somewhere soon. Great balance, vision and toughness will land him a spot somewhere in the NFL.

his ability to perform at the combine and during workouts, just killed his draft status. Still, I never would have imagined that any NFL team would take a big gamble on a very injury prone Marcus Lattimore, who suffered what appeared to be a catastrophic knee injury this past year, before Ellington. For that matter, I never would have thought Goodman would go before Andre.

Lamichael James. They took Lattimore in the 4th round, they can afford to let him get fully healthy and see how he turns out. He is 4th round pick so he won't being getting a big contract. If doesn't turn out good, SF won't lose that much money, and since they already have 2 good RB's it won't hurt them.

Whether legitimate or not, there's the perception of a lack of receiving abilities. Stats seem to back that up. And the injury concerns.
