prove our manhood and devotion to Clemson, talking about how we don't need him, how he couldn't cut it here, how he's afraid of competition, good riddance, and so on, or is it too soon? I'm already prepared to complain about any articles or posts that mention his name once he leaves.

He gave 4 years of his life to Clemson,will earn his CLEMSON Degree. Just if he's not 100% sure BEFORE NSD, Clemson shouldn't be put in the position to be hung out,like Chuck,Korrin and Adrian did to them last year. Has to be a HAPPY medium.

I’d hate to see that but it would be hard to blame him. The guy has had a great year for us but the attention is all going to TF and ETN.
He definitely deserves some more spotlight.

And he also said as a part of the same comment that he loves being in Orange... he said he loves it here. He noted that there are pros and cons to both options. As long as he is communicating with the coaches I have no problem with him thinking this one over.

Willie Simmons went on to Citadel and had a great year. He is now the head coach at Fla A&M. We had a running back once who went to VT and had a nice career. A QB who could not beat Fuller went to W Carolina and led the SOCON in passing. I am not sure what Pagano did this year. When these kids want to play, they don't care if they step down to smaller schools, especially if they already have their degree.

He is graduating and its the coaches choice for him to stay. Once a player gets his degree he is done unless the coaches really need him. Not going to be many 5 yr players anymore.

They seem to appreciate the leadership that the 5-years offer, even if it's not so much on the field. No way anyone's eager to see Choice move on next year.

few years ago ,that the 5th year wasn't guaranteed. The player doesn't owe them, they don't owe the player,it's a case by case situation.
That said, I hope that they both choose to stay. I've been wanting to see what Fuller/Choice would be like in their 5th years.
CJ just might go all "Reggie" with another year of weight training. Adam has earned his spot and would contribute just as much,if not more than he did this season. Just need to know which way he's leaning before NSD ,where the spot can be filled by someone other than a WO,if need be.
