to Charleston, you would be close to Savannah. But if you were traveling from Myrtle Beach to Savannah, Charleston would not be close to Savannah!

If I am planning a trip to Charleston or a trip to Savannah, they are both about 4 hours away and you pass Charleston on the way to Savannah.
