ACC Championship and Louisville Problem

2

Sep 30, 2023, 5:13 PM

I know this is too far down the road, but I’m an irrational fan so I get to do this. A big assumption that Clemson goes 6-2 in league play. I’ve been focused on FSU needing to win a lot and Duke losing three. However, we might have a Louisville problem. They play all of the bottom feeders in our conference, and we don’t play them to get the tie breaker. I just don’t think they lose 2 games this year with their schedule to get to a tie.

Wouldn't worry about any championships. Hope we get to a good bowl game and win it this time.

This is what needs to happen to get back on track. Forget the ACC championship no one watches it or puts any stock in it anyways because we have pretty much been able to sleepwalk through it and win for almost a decade. We need to get a good bowl with. A decent SEC or B1G team and crush them to get the media attention and get the program confident again and back on track. We’re back to 2012 and need that big LSU type win to close out the year. This team will be amazing next year with the players we have plus a couple new impact freshmen.

In the 2nd half last night but even though UL dodges a number of teams, they aren’t great so they may lose to some folks you don’t expect right now.

Who knows how a tie would be settled if it happened

with no head to head?

Anyway, we need Losville to lose at least two and either FSU or Duke lose three to get to the ACCCG. THATS NOT GOOD ODDS AT ALL.

You might need to be worried about Miami too. It will be October tomorrow and they haven't played a league game yet. Don't know what they will do either once they get into ACC play.

based off of early season losses clemson isnt making the acc title game this year...
just hope we keep our 10+ win season streak alive.

"I love this place, I've got a spot already picked out where I want 'em to put me when I die - up there on that ole hill near the stadium. I want to be there so I can hear all them people cheering my Tigers on Saturdays; then I won't have to go Heaven; I'll already be there."- Frank Howard
