At 5-22 ,and 0-11 in conference play I would not exactly call Boston College powerful.

It is amazing to me to see how many former great coaches and baseball players have the time to get on this board. Young uneducated baseball fans like me can learn so much from all of them. I wish I knew more about baseball because through my eyes I see a very young baseball team that is developing a pretty impressive pitching staff with two actual freshmen left handed pitchers. I see Firth moving over to the bullpen and I see Meyer and Campbell finally giving us some decent innings in relief. I see young players like Kreiger and Duggar becoming future leaders of the team. I sure wish I knew as much as all of you that see Coach P as the worst pitching coach we have ever had and Jack as the washed up old goat that he must be. Yeah sure wish I knew more about baseball.

I don't post much as there is alot negative stuff said on this board but I would like to share a story from wed nights game against GW. My wife and I and our 11 year old son who plays baseball went about 90 minutes early so we could watch the tigers warm up, it was like a symphony. We were sitting by the first base dug out and coach leggett came over and introduced himself. Thanked us for being there. Asked us where we were from and talked to my son. Well after the game, our son was getting autographs behind the first base dug out and suddenly disappeared. Well I walk back up to where we had watched pregame and there was will talking with coach leggett again. He then took wills baseball and had it signed in the locker room by his favorite player. Brought it back out to our son. Mind u they had a workout at 6 am yesterday morning then caught the team bus at 715 to ride to Charlotte and them fly to beacon hill. U know I want to win like all of us do but after watching the crap this week about Rutgers coach it is refreshing to see a real gentleman represent our school. Our players adore him cause of the kind of man he is. He deserves better from this board. And yes I get fustrated when we lose and get thrown our at home but jeez guys this is a really good man. Just saying

Also, do the jack haters have any idea how young this team is? And also how many actually played or coached the game at even a high school level? Again just saying. Bash away.
