My source advised you will not be able to re-enter the stadium this year?
They advised it related to alcohol sales but will be spun as a “safety “ issue.
All that has made the Clemson experience special is dying by a thousand cuts…

72 million a year for IPTAY and they still beg for money at every turn. Have spent little or nothing for fan experience. Terrible bathrooms, small tv’s in long concession lines, weak internet. Worst of all, they make it hard for students to get tix and attend games.

Yes. I can see your point. I mean you travel to the stadium, tailgate, go through the entry process, and then needs must leave half way through the game to go outside the stadium to do what? And when the administration, in a litigious age, protects itself and the institution, you take umbrage at their temerity.

If this is true, I agree with the eliminating the Half Time passouts. Too often the beginning of the 3rd quarter the stadium is half empty. It is a bad look and takes away from our home field advantage. Dabo, coaches and players have on several occasions has talked about this issue.

That's nothing new. Took my daughter to a game and there was a huge inflatable male genitalia being bounced around on the hill. Despite all the talk over the years about Clemson being family-friendly our fans have always had a crude streak. Granted, we were still classier than all SEC schools except maybe Vandy.

To be clear, I said "Clemson", not "Clemson football". It's way more than rules changes on gameday. And I loved it enough to retire there. I've since moved away to be closer to the other things that I still love.

The administration is making terrible decisions for gamedays and charging much more for it….thats a losing proposition in my book! Have been watching games on my big screen the last couple years and it’s actually awesome. No IPTAY dues, tickets, parking or now $10-$12 beers🥳

If this is true, it is time for IPTAY members to organize and fight back. I do not leave the stadium because I am not trekking all the way back to Brooks for a drink. However, there are people that are spending big bucks to park near the stadium and setup HGTV worthy tailgate spots. All IPTAY members are being asked to pony up more for 2026. Eliminating the stadium reentry policy will be the final stray to push people over the edge.

Not being able to leave and re-enter won’t affect me so I don’t have an opinion. I usually don’t leave my seat during games. I drink enough while tailgating, make sure I hit the restroom after the Victory Walk but before the on field pre-game festivities and then stay at my seat the whole game. On rare occasions I might hit the restroom at halftime but not most games. My wife makes enough trips to the restrooms and concession stands during the game to make up for me not going there. 😂

I haven’t bought anything from a concession stand in years. Like I said, I literally don’t leave my seat from about 20 minutes prior to kickoff until after the game is over. None of this bothers me. I go to watch the game and that is what I do. I take some venison snacks and a bottle of water in with me and that’s all I need.

I feel this is all a double edged sword. I agree about being in your seat and being loud. I usually am horse from yelling when I leave a game. However, some people enjoy games differently. They have paid the money, made the travel, and want to tailgate at half time. I wish they were in their seats at the start of the third but, understand why they are not. A lot of them have beautiful tailgates with tvs with family and friends that are not going into the stadium. Enjoying their tailgate at halftime is part of their game day experience.

I just looked it up and Davis Babb’s email is babbd@clemson.edu. I would email him and tell him that no one will answer calls and help you. If you can no longer walk to the stadium from your new parking spot, you can check on the handicap lot. If you end up going to the handicap lot, you can take your IPTAY back to your seat equity value and save yourself some money. I am so sorry that you and a bunch of other long time boosters lost your parking spaces this season. I also miss the old Clemson tailgate experience. Before long, some of us will be stuck in the new parking garage.

I am pretty sure every college stadium that sells alcohol also does not allow re-entry. I thought it was commonly accepted that once we started selling da booze, re-entries were going away?

Common sense says that cars are too big to fit all 20,000 to 40,000 of them near the stadium. It just cannot work and parking lots are a terrible use of prime real estate. You can barely even park at Costco when it's busy.
And we'll be fine without thousands of balloons polluting the beautiful campus and environment.

It is if you are in the lots by the stadium. Did so for 40 yrs of going to games. Have up tkts during Covid. Glad I don’t have to worry about the tkt and partying race now. Saved 50k in the past few years finally got a call last year and asked by an intern as to why? Told him iptay has lost touch to the people who started it all.

I dont remember what lot it was, but it was the one right outside the gates coming from north side stands. We could never walk down and make it back unless there was literally no time spend at the tailgate.

for the 3rd qtr - this is a disastrous idea if the admin follows through. I've been in bathroom lines at BC night games in Boston that were a awful and missed large portions of the game due to alcohol sales. The passouts allow folks to spreadout - less strain on the concessions and bathrooms which weren't built to handle that type of crowd.
Also, for those saying other stadiums that sell alcohol don't allow passouts. That's dumb as they didn't allow passouts before they sold alcohol. Clemson is unique in this regards.

It's a corporate world now. Im a Tiger for life, but I honestly don't get giddy about football season like I used to. Haven't been to a spring game in like 3 years. My wife actually talked me into camping this year on labor day weekend. We will follow the game as much as possible., but wife has been just as full with Clemson Athletics being a huge piece. Money and greed have killed amateur athletics!!

I brought a University of Washington fan to a game in 2015 and he was absolutely floored that Clemson allowed alcohol on the campus at all, because they cannot at UW games....think about that 15 years ago. Right after that experience we happened to be on a job in Athens and crashed a tailgate party at the Bulldogs vs Alabama. When he saw the front campus was knee deep in beer cans and a girl holding another girls hair so she could puke, his mind was totally blown......"I thought this was the uptight Bible belt. This is totally crazy...crazy fun" is what he said.
Yep we're just catching up to the woke. Corral it to the stadium. License it and profit from it. All in the name of protecting the public.....

Have YOU EVEN MET THEADERSHIP. The website says re-entry with a pass. Gathering at the PAW is being mandated by the conference. The balloons have been gone for awhile and before them current leadership was even at Clemson. The parking shuffle is due to construction....primarily the new parking garage off Perimeter Rd which will add 2000 spaces.

moral of the story is get out of the ACC and join a conference that appreciates us. Also some NIL regulations would help so we aren't so desperate for money.
