Coach Cheese. . .

History will tell you that it was only a matter of time before Coach Cheese left:
Coaching career (HC unless noted) 1992-1993 Gardner-Webb (WR) 1994 UTEP (DB) 1995-1997 Clemson (DB) 1998-2000 Alabama (WR) 2001-2002 LSU (DB) 2003-2006 Alabama (WR) 2007-2008 Mississippi State (DC) 2009-Present Clemson (co-DC/DB)
While I'm sure he is nice, wonderful man and obviously well thought of by the players, his track record shows he has no loyalties. Safe it to say, this is one area that all Tiger fans agree we've needed to upgrade for some time.
Best of luck Coach Cheese!

That you are an idiot!
I asked a simple question. I call him harbison, others call him cheese... I'm sorry that I don't keep up with your teenage nicknames that you have for a coach. Now get back to work at your minimum wage job!

It makes you wonder why he left in all honesty

Im sure the salary is not too different. The Offensive coaching scheme is gonna be pretty close. So it comes down to a few things. Does he think coaching in the SEC is a better deal? Wanted to work with Johnson as opposed to Venables? Would rather coach with Coach M as opposed to Coach D? Lets hope there isn't some kind of internal problems going on we are not privy to because as I see this thing it makes no sense to jump ship right now.

with the program knew that Harbison was going to get the axe. Our db's were the worst that I've ever seen in all of my years watching CU football, maybe with the exception of the era of the Ford twins!

I'd guess the deal with DV is he can bring his own guys in as the staff finds other jobs. Makes better press with staff being hired away than fired.
Does anyone think it's just coincidence that the one coach this whole board agrees should have been fired is now gone ?

He spent 10 years in the SEC so why did he come to Clemson for 4 years? I understand he was ousted when everyone was fired at Miss. State, but why didn't he get picked up by another SEC team?

Moldy cheese can be bitter.
maybe a lot of personality, not much substance, as we saw the results on the field.

A moving target is hard to hit. This was Dabo's decision IMO.
