We either have more of the same 13 years or we have something new to be excited about. It is as simple as that.

Football and basketball, and maybe baseball as well lol.
He’s got some decisions to think about.

Its weird that you think all 13 years have been the same. The first six were played in a dump. One was a sweet 16 experience. One was the first ever win at UNC. One was played in Greenville. One year set a record for all time conference wins.
Guess like most Clemson fans you dont really pay attention to basketball other than complaining.

Thanks for your input. In my opinion he is a sub-par recruiter and coach. And the results show it. His best team is on the borderline of the tournament with a more likely result being an invitation to the losers’ tournament…NIT. I know you are a supporter and that is fine. i am not.

I appreciate your taking the time to restate your thoughts in a reasonable way. I am not really a supporter or detractor of CBB. I believe he has done a little better than we should expect given the support he has received but I would like to see a program in the dance more often. The thing is if we only change the HC I believe we are more likely to get worse results instead of better results

To me being one of 68 teams making the tournament is a minimum acceptable level of performance.

It is not. College basketball is about the NCAA tourney. If you aren’t in it, it was an unsuccessful season. The NIT should be an occasionally tolerated step back.

16 20-win seasons in Clemson's sad basketball history

CBB has produced five of those seasons. You people have no concept of history. Applying a football mentality to basketball. It doesn't work that way.

How, exactly, is wanting to make the NCAA tournament consistently a “football” mentality. I know that in half the tenure Purcell made the tournament as many times Brownell has. How’s that for history?

he fires Brownell and the next coach posts 7 years of .500 records. Doubt he makes a move based on TNet complaints.

I think there is a good chance CBB is in his last year.
