My brother, a student, says no. Email that went out earlier in the week said they'd be notified this evening...

Yea. His email said they rec'd over 3400 requests and his will not be fulfilled, so they are going to refund the charge.

My daughter also. She won free ones to both games last year, I'm afraid she may have used up all her luck. Really surprised that they did not have any for students to purchase this year.

If a student wins one of the tickets or receive one or however that works these days, are they allowed to sell them and anyone use them?
I just remember when i went in the 70's we got them and they were marked student tickets and you had to show student id to use. TIA

Not sure exactly how this one will work but I can tell you how lasts years did. Mt daughter won a free one to the orange bowl through the Clemson lotto. She had to go to Miami and pick it up from will call the day of the game. They did let her get the ticket and come back to the stadium later to go inside. So I guess she could have sold it after then. She won another to the National Championship game in Phoenix. This one also had to be picked up at will call at the stadium on the day of the game. The catch on this one was that they made them go immediately into the stadium when they picked the ticket up. No way to resale, she wouldn't have taken any amount of money anyway. She has also won another for Monday and once again she will not get the ticket until she gets to the stadium on gameday. Not sure if she will have to go in right away or not, each time photo ID was required at will call. Another difference this year is they had to put up a $550 deposit before entering the lottery and will be refunded once they pick up their ticket. Winners who do not show up to get their ticket will not be refunded. it would be very hard to purchase a student ticket
