Pitt is struggling and Syracuse is nothing special. We played a gritty game tonight. That is a positive, as that is how we win games. The effort tonight compared to Saturday was night and day. My thoughts before this 5 games murderers row was if we could somehow come out of it 2-3 that would be a victory. Pitt is now z big game. They can't shoot either so it's liable to be a 42-40 game, lol, but if we're the one with the 42, so be it

We saw gritty effort for the first time in what seems like a while. Nothing wrong with being proud of that.
I'd say most were proud last year when we went to the Carrier Dome and kept it close, only losing by about 10. And we were on the bubble then.

against the #5 team at their place after being blown out by a mediocre UNC team just a few days ago. It's an improvement and hopefully one we can build on as the season goes.
