Random thoughts from the the win yesterday

1) Several fans around me were down on G Byrd for missing the line shot
that went off the top of his glove. The ball was a rocket from the shade into
the sun I was impressed he touch it at all.

2) K dub (Kyle Wilkie) had some good at bats yesterday and hopefully it will
only strengthen his confidence.

3) Teodosio the book has been written on Bryce. Saw a bunch of off speed pitches
and curve balls. He will adjust but he was lost yesterday at the plate at times.

4) Cream rises to the top Beer is starting to put together an offensive and defensive
season at the same time. He becoming a well rounded player and not just a power
hitter.

5) Met David Hood in person for the first time. He is as classy and nice in person as
his writings portray him. We are fortunate to have David & Nicki's hard work to
read daily.

6) Dirtpecker fans are dirtpeckers. They have no shame and were running their mouth
like they were on a 10 year winning streak, when the only thing they can point to
is a women's basketball trophy. I asked one if that trophy was lonely being there
by it's little lonesome self. He replied "Don't forget about baseball" My response
CCU has 1 of those trophies, Maybe you should come by and see what multiple NC trophies
looks like. FYI it fills a big room not middle school trophy case like yours.

7) This baseball team is going to be special this year.For all of the questions about
pitching before the year started are sure being answered quickly. I hope we have a
a good turn out today in the Doug and finish the series with a win. Jake Higginbotham
be will tough on the mound is pitching well and I am not sure if the dirtpeckers have
any good pitching left for us. Also tip your cap to Hill for Friday night's performance.
We beat ourselves but he pitched really well.
