Ok…I’ll admit that a few weeks ago when it was so dry, I complained. However, the last couple of weeks we have gotten so many heavy downpours…I’m kinda over it.

Yes, I know how Custer felt. Where I live, the rain completely surrounds us but seldom comes our way.

That was me last summer…it is frustrating. This year, I have had so much rain the past few weeks (2+ inches each time) that I’m having septic issues…ground is just saturated. I’ll gladly trade you a week of rain for at least a week of dry weather.

I think I would be just fine if I could flush my toilets and take a shower…I know these things have made me soft, but I’m not willing to give them up. Pretty sure the guy who put in my septic system 5 years ago just sold me a bill of goods…and the county inspector just did a drive-by.

Yeah…considered it…but not sure I want to spend the money. Daughter getting married in the spring of 2025 is pretty much bleeding me dry…haha.

We needed rain and are blessed to have it , however when keeping 6 acres of grass cut at the house it is not fun when it grows quicker than I can keep it cut .
