Purple Takes Game One

Freshman Stephen Dugger with the walkoff hit in the bottom of the 10th, to put the Purple up 3-2. Game #2 today at 1:00...two freshman on the mound...Wales Toney (Anderson, SC) vs Zack Erwin (Duluth, GA).

Hope our pitching was that good because our bats looked anemic. Dugger had a good day even without the game winner.

Also, it was nice to meet several of the mothers down for the game. Mike Triller's mother, a very nice lady, was down from Vermont. Now that's a road trip. Plan to visit with her again Sunday.
