Had ever heard coming from Clemson was the day it was announced that Tim Bourette would join Bob Bradley as his assistant in the SID office. There was no one like Bradley in my opinion. And it pained me tremendously to see my university hire a man from Norte Dame to assist this great Clemson legend. No way would he have the love and passion for my Tigers that Bradley possessed! It took me perhaps a month to realize that maybe Bourette would do a good job until some real Clemson guy came along. Boy was I wrong. Tim quickly established himself as the true heir apparent to the SID job and he became the man of Clemson Sports. Now I am saddened to hear of his departure from my teams because he will not be replaced. Because of Tim I now have a little more respect and admiration for the Irish!
If he went there, it can’t be all bad! Good luck and great health to another Clemson legend.

I can’t imagine what the next guy will be like but he sure has some BIG shoes to fill!

HE DID A GREAT JOB, AND WAS WELL LIKED.HOWEVER, THE ONLY FAULT I HAVE WITH HIM IS THAT HE WORE TO MUCH NOTRE DAME GREEN.WHEN HE STARTED GETTING PAID BY CLEMSON, HE SHOULD HAVE WORE CLEMSON COLORS.

No man is an island. We thought Bob could not be replaced. Along comes Tim, he did not try to be Bob. He was himself, a statistical giant about Clemson athletics. I am sure that we will find another individual that will represent the TIGERS very well.
