And, yes, that is what they are thinking now.
The problem is accurately determining the right coach.
All coaching hires are educated guesses at best. Alabama, after Bear Bryant died, had one "right hire" between him and Nick Saban (Gene Stallings). How many hired did Clemson have between Ford and Dabo? (And, how many people thought Dabo was the "right hire" when Terry Don gave him the job?
If aTm makes "the right hire" it will work out for them. But, if they don't....

Jimbo is headed for a place where he doesn't have to shave, can walk around mumbling like a street bum, has no idea what he is doing as he loudly curses his players and staff for the slightest indiscretions, picks a fight with the greatest college coach of all time in various public sparring matches, and produces results that would insinuate that insanity has taken hold of his faculties. i.e. he'll just keep doing what he has always done.
