IDK, most folks don't get it. I used to run there, you could go a great 2-3 mile loop. After my lass class/work in Lee, and easy change and run. A few hidden trails, good mix of asphalt, brick, and unpaved. Running from North Clemson, down to/through/around campus, BG and then back. Good 11 mile circuit. Now I did most of my runs in the EF up near Issaqueena but that was normally scheduled/organized with some mountain biking friends.
I kinda hated it when they redid their entrance.
Oh and the Tea Olives are a treat in the fall.

I think it's because plants don't have paws . I thought it through , thoroughly ... and I am pretty confident I have fell upon the answer here to your question .
My favorite tree is a Shoal Creek Vitex , or Chaste Tree .

Still one of the most well written, humorous Christmas movies of all time. I wonder what "Plus size model" the famous "Leg Lamp" it was based on? I couldn't find a name, only that reference. Major Award indeed.

It is a fun place to visit. There is this thing called "Master Gardener" that some aspire too. Over all the USA it is a big deal. Unlike 99.99% of most who earn it, earning it here means real Clemson Professors volunteer and show to teach. Others have nothing like this available..
The Gardens are a great class room. Any nearby who have time and interest should try to gain a slot.

from an ex gurlfren, for the Eagles He>ll Freezes Over concert in Charlotte. It got delayed and the two of us didn't last long enough for her to get a free ride. My newest squeeze at the time had a blast though.
Good times.

Is the Botanical Garden maintained by volunteers or Clemson employees?

If it's the same as a few years ago, the SCBG is maintained by both employees and volunteers.

Back when I was in college at NC State, I was dating this chick that went to UNC. Girl was an absolute nympho. I mean, she could go as many times in the day as I would have liked her to. She was a squirter, too (yeah, I know, its just pee, whatever, still hot). She lived in Hickory, so I went to visit her over the summer. We took a day trip down to Clemson one afternoon to visit my sister and walk around Clemson's campus.
She sent me nudes from Tillman Hall (see Jounge for nudes) so of course I had to get it. So we went over to the botanical gardens for some privacy. I sat down on a picnic table near the bathrooms right off of Duck Pond Road. Girl just goes to town with some sloppy toppy. I mean this chick didn't have a gag reflex. All of a sudden this woman walks up and we both freeze, my dink in her mouth. I make eye contact with the chick and she turns around and walks away.
Girlfriend and I panic. I zip up, then we dart around the duck pond. We see that this woman went and got a park ranger and theyre making a bee line right to where we were. We run around the pond as fast as we possibly can, and hop in the car. We buzz out of town as fast as we can. As soon as we hit 85N, she reaches over the arm rest of my 2005 Honda Civic and finishes the job... but she wanted more.
She made me pull over once we hit Greenville and we ###### in the backseat in the parking lot of the Wyndham Garden hotel behind Chophouse 47 and California Dreamin. I am talking animal style in the backseat. Girl squirted EVERYWHERE in the backseat multiple times. Absolutely ruined the cloth seats, but it was worth it.
We broke up, mainly because I found someone hotter that let me put my dink inside of her, but we continued forking on and off throughout college. She got engaged to some redneck at Disney World and shes fat now, so I'd like to think I got her best years.
