got too big for his britches and put his own agenda ahead of all others, including the best interests of the school, that coach got exiled to Arkansas, then sent to the farm. Please tell me that you imbeciles are not thinking of doing THAT again??

We're in a different era now.

Danny Ford didn't make $11 million to put out the kind of stink fests we saw against Georgia and Louisville.

Danny advocated for an athletic dorm.
The NCAA briefly had a rule against those, but they are common now.
In other words, Danny was ahead of his time. Dabo, u fortunately, seems to be past his. He's trying to make a moral crusade out of simple business decisions with zero moral implications. He just needs to adapt, or resign. Taking $11 million annually for the product the fans are getting? Now THAT is a moral dilemma.

That didn't put Danny's interests above the school's. It was all about the school.

He just misread the tea leaves about what the NCAA was going to do.

That long read NCAA rule didn't last long.
Lots of P4 schools have athlete dorms now.

Danny got threatened with the Death Penalty. We chose between Ford and the Football program.

SMU is only now recovering. I think we chose wisely.

Dabo is already a legend eclipse. That is not in dispute. The issue at hand is, if you’re going to continue to take $11 million a year, you have to do your job, which includes coaching the team. Continuing to bring up your past successes is getting old
