Please stop with "who have you played" responses to rivals

I see all these posts arguing with SCAR fans about how poorly they looked in such and such game against some bad team and basing this as a reason for a Tiger win and the uber confidence being espoused........go look at SCAR's games leading up to the game last year....

SCAR lost two road games in 2012 then came home and squeaked by a crappy Tennessee that was firing their coach, barely rushed for 100 yards in beating Arky at home who was also dumping their interim coach and then was TIED with Wofford in the 4th quarter prior to the Clemson game.

The Tigers had been on a scoring tear during the same period and had just hung 60+ on NC State.

I would argue SCAR looked like &h!+ heading into the rivalry game........however the outcome was no different than previous 3 years.

This is a rivalry game folks....some times different teams seem to show up than what was expected.

Yep good point.
Everyone asked "who have they played" about FSU.

We just have to go down there and play well.

Don't forget also that we lost to a bad Auburn team in 2011 that Clemson beat, and lost to a terrible Kentucky in 2010. For that matter, I don't think Florida was that great last year, and they stomped us. All that being said, it's a new year and all that is really irrelevant. This Clemson team is a little better than those others.

Yeah in 2010, SCar was just an overall way better team. I thought the Clemson team that took Auburn to OT just never showed up again after Kyle Parker's rib injury and Ellington foot injury.

But in 2009, 2011 and 2012, either team could make a case for thinking you should win. SCar just showed up and executed and Clemson has not. What is more frustrating as a Clemson fan is that we have not showed up, played a good game and lost.. all 3 times we have been left with "What the heck is this?"

SCar gets some of the credit for that of course for having a gameplan to throw us off our game but it's time to have a good game where the two teams go toe to toe for 4 quarters and the best team wins. I guess 2007 was the last time that happened. Its been one sided ever since.
