So I take it that if Auburn wins out they may just be in. If they can get in with two losses I would not be shocked to see Ohio St back in the picture if they win out.

The difference is, is Auburn wins out, they will have beaten

Bama and then Georgia for a 2nd time, in the last three weeks of the season. Even if Ohio St wins out, the only highly ranked team they will have beaten would be Wisconsin, AND they got stomped by Iowa and OKlahoma.

My .02 cents

Saturday uncovered 3 frauds ND UGA TCU. last week OU was a non defensive team
that did not deserve to be in the top 4 NOW after beating a TCU team that was
a little overrated now OU is HUGE deal now, I do not get it. ND which is a slow
football team, period. Meet another team with superior speed and got boat raced.
I am still not sure how well Miami plays away from home but we will see the first
weekend December.

He is ESPN leading man of course he is going to pump up another overrated Midwest team.

Looking at the map, I'd say southwest. So, the narrative

Can we have OU for semifinal matchup.

I would love for our D to say hello to Mayfield again.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No no. I want Bama.

Nov 12, 2017, 12:47 PM

Bama is nothing like it was the last couple years.

All have opinions, and some are thoughtful and some are not so. All can be ignored cause they are meaningless at this point. Play ball til early Dec and then express. It'll be clear then. Before is just BS rhetoric.

This ^^^^. We win we’re in. Simple as that. Nothing else matters

The problem is that this isn't true based on recent history. For instance, if OSU hadn't been pumped by the media ALL last year, do you think they'd have been in the playoff over PSU?

While I 100% agree that the only poll that matters is the one after championship weekend, it certainly doesn't hurt to be ranked highly leading up to that.

My opinion bout as worthy as Herbie as far as predicting the College Playoff Committee's rankings.I say they will keep it simple.
1-Bama
2-Clemson
3-Ok
4-Miami
5 and beyond-don't care.
