Is Tony Steward getting any PT? Injured? Not ready?

We opted (maybe that was him that preferred that he try and play this season) to play the guy this year, but I don't really hear his name called that much. Is he even playing? Is he still battling his injuries? What's the scoop on him? I really wanted to hear his name called a lot this year.

out there over Shuey, Anthony, and Willard. Technically he plays Willard's position so you certainly can't just play him for the heck of it.
I wish he was better and hope he's better next season. He's gotten at least a taste of what it feels like this year.

Not much, and it must be due to one of the following:

1. He's still not 100%, whether it's physical of just a lack of confidence in the knee after last year's injury. Or, the injury has put him too far behind, and even if it's 100% now, it has given others an opportunity to stay or move too far ahead. But, Steward himself said on multiple occasions early this year that his knee was 100%. Besides, If this is the case, why in the world is he not being red shirted? That makes me think that this is not it.
2. He's in the doghouse for some reason. Doesn't seem likely, as coaches sing his praises as far as attitude and work ethic goes.
3. He's not that good. Our coaches, other coaches, and all recruiting services were wrong. I don't think this is very likely.
4. He's not grasping the defense. If this is the case, you have to wonder if he ever will. By process of elimination, this is the only one that makes sense, given what we know.
But that's just it, we don't know. All we can do is speculate.

I believe the one positive here is that we don't have to worry about him leaving early. He will contribute his Junior and Senior years.

Townsend played also. People might as well get over it, they aren't ready to start yet and won't till next year
