And that’s fine if they would just tacitly state that’s what gets a team in. Don’t lose to crappy teams, and then hope you have the good fortune to have “hard teams” on your schedule. Clemson was 23-10 and lost to 2 Quad 4 teams. NC State went 23-10. Was obliterated by Clemson 3 times, but they didn’t lose any Quad 4 losses, so they get in. That’s what’s dumb to me. It’s not who you beat at all. It’s purely win average to crappy games and don’t lose any of those. Amazing process.
