FSU vs Louisville is just another reason why , no matter how hard the ACC tries, we will never catch other conferences.
On Vivid Seats (50 yd line) Upper Deck ACCCG - $41 Upper Deck SECCG - $387 Upper Deck Big Ten - $88 Upper Deck Big 12 - $138 Upper Deck Pac2 lol - $60
Granted ticket prices will decrease next year for Big 12, but to be almost 10% of the price of the sec and half the big ten, jiminy crickets!!!

supposed to be a nasty one in Charlotte tomorrow.
Take that away and it might be on par with the Big 10 or Pac... WTH is going on with the Big 12 other than the last time to see Texas win it? Who knows?

Not sure. Maybe it was because of the preseason notion, OU vs UT one last time and people are trying to recoup some of that money.
The Big Ten's 24CG will probably have higher ticket prices.

I totally agree, and this is a HUGE problem. No one from the ACC travles like we do. FSU is undefeated with a chance, albeit small, of finishing the season that way with a NC.
So, the ACC goes as Clemson goes but Clemson suffers because of the rest of the ACC. It is pathetic and battling NIL will just get more difficult if the ACC remains status quo. I still blame Swofford.

Conferences dont get the revenue thats generated in the secondary market

That’s for brokers and profiteers. A comparison of the face values would be more germane.

Of course, but the current market prices shows valuation. There are 4 undefeated teams, one of them is a 10-point underdog. If you have to give tickets away to a Championship game, how many people outside of those two schools and the CFP committee are going to be watching? Viewership and perception matter. Neither are going to be shown in a positive view for the ACC tomorrow.

that is on fan bases traveling to Charlotte... no one in Charlotte is going...
FWIW I sold be seats on the 45 (upper) after we were eliminated for $170...
The SEC game is always going to get max $$$, they have huge fan bases, most can drive to Atlanta... and 'Bama - Georgia is an epic matchup with huge stakes ... so yea.

And it’s always dry and a comfortable 72 degrees. Personally I prefer football out in the elements but I’m in the minority.

If the ACC wanted to sell tickets, they would have the game at noon or 3:30 as the last couple of CG games I attended were cold and/or rainy. Not to mention walking through Charlotte at 12:30 is not the safest thing in the world to do on a Saturday night.

Swofford missed the boat years ago and when Danny Ford was fired Clemson’s administration and the AD missed the chance to get us out of the ACC.
Now are we chained to dead weight ?? Or is there a way out.
