We matched up better in 2015 and 2016 and came away 1-1. Bama's D was too much in 2017 and KB could not beat them passing. Bama's weak link last year was DBs and we exposed that (especially on 3rd down).
Tonight it seemed more like TL was off and their DBs made it hard on #5 and #8. I agree play calling didn't help. This loss should have been more like 2015. Yes last year's Power Rangers are missed, but some new ones are on the way. It will be a long off season, but this too shall pass.
We can surely expect to be mocked by ESPiN next season as our SOS will not be much different than this years.

Nyles Pinkney was injured and did not play. DL just could not bring enough pressure, and Burrow managed to get his passes off.
TL missed so many makeable passes.

when we got up against a fast and smart defense. I'm not knocking KB, he just isn't a top-notch QB.
