Anybody clued in on why this Dude is not preseason all american status by now? He is 6-5, athletic with adequate speed but was hardly used last year when we needed another "guy" to step up b/c CAin was more of a support receiver not a alpha go get it type. Higgins became that late but where was OVerton? Is it a personality thing? Does he evade the limelight/pressure?

I thought he was going to be our breakout receiver last year but he hardly did anything. This guy should be the guy we're talking about but there's something "not there" about him.

I guess there are two types of players...There are guys who go out and get open and there are guys who just run routes. I watched him last year in games and noticed he looked like he was just running routes and not really looking for the ball to be thrown to him. Was he in the dog house? I mean did he even play in the sugar bowl?

I keep waiting for the switch to come on with this dude. If we had him playing like he should be and on the other side Higgins who is already a beast and then all these slot guys available we should be unstoppable. Overton should be another "just throw it up" type target.

Here's to hoping he shuts my a$$ up this year!

Maybe he felt that even if he got open the chances of the ball coming to him
was slim and none and slim has left town.
