I believe they have been. If FSU is truly a top 5 program, I've got no problems with the overall effort from last Saturday. Still room for improvement on both sides and from the sidelines, but I think the team showed vastly improved focus and effort as compared to Duke where it seemed they had Quaaludes in the Gatorade.

If Clemson is truly pissed off and plays its best game, winning by 21 is very doable.
But my guess is we get a team with a bit of a hangover from FSU game, make some of the same mistakes we've been making and find ourselves in a battle as usual with Syracuse.

we can be. I simply don't trust this team. I'm not saying they are bad or they don't care. They care and they are good. I'm just saying they are so erratic and up and down and capable of a disaster at any minute.
I hope this gets smoothed out. It certainly may.

I'll tell you why. It's because they care more than you can imagine. They work their butts off to prepare for these games. All winter, all spring, all summer, 7 days a week nowadays, and the abuse and physical strain are immense. Not to mention, they still have their studies to take care of, also and most of them do a great job with that, too. Angry? Dang right they are angry, and they especially get angry when people criticize their purpose and their effort and their dedication. Enough rant from me, but don't doubt how badly these guys, every one of them, want to win.
