At first glance, this seems to be a bit troublesome to say the least.

Leftist scum not only don't have a problem with terrorism, they make movies about it and then proudly show it at Ivy League schools, to what will be roaring applause I'm sure. It's bad enough the prisons are full of Democrats but now we have to worry about them blowing up our infrastructure as well.

intermediate steps and quickly jump to their ultimate goal of having no humans on the planet. They should all show us their commitment to their ideology and desired end state by performing an immediate act of "self extinction" as their death cult ultimately requires.

Think I'm joking??

I'll at least give this lunatic (Les U. Knight) credit for openly stating the real objective as to where most radical environmentalist use the Marxist deception route to hide their ultimate desire. Either way their viewpoint and goal are the same - humans are a destructive virus infecting mother earth that must be eradicated...

Out of curiosity, why does the opinion of Lester Knight matter?

And to be clear, he's not advocating for murder or suicide, he thinks people should stop having children. Not forced, voluntarily. The vast majority of people don't think like him, so again...why does he or his opinions matter? Because somebody gave him space in the NYT a couple years ago?

This is the kind of hyperbolic broadbrush "DON'T BELIEVE ME?!" alarmism I'd expect from NCtiger23whatever with his "Leftist scum just want yaddayaddayadda", but not really from you.

Notice I used the descriptor "radical" in front of environmentalist....

Not all who classify themselves as an "environmentalist" are radicals seeking the destruction of human civilization or humanity in general. Elon Musk describes himself as a "environmentalist" yet is not a radical seeking the destruction of human civilization. There are plenty of folks trying to do things to protect our environment that are not radicals.

But we also can't ignore the growing radicalization within the environmentalist movement. Unfortunately many of our college campuses are supportive of the more radical environmentalist movements who are doing everything they can to spread their radical mind virus. Not all of them are up front with what their ultimate goals are but they all subscribe to the same basic tenant that humans, and our activity, are the cause of the planets destruction. Their solutions range from the "benevolent" human extinction (i.e. the Les Knight Human Extinction Movement) to active destruction of property and violence.

The folks that advocate blowing up pipelines, which is in the OP, are part of that group of radical environmentalist whose ultimate goal is nothing less than the destruction of human civilization. They exist and I'm merely providing an example of one group who is more up front with their desire for human civilization to end and even garnered the attention of the MSM NY Times.

As our world continues to disintegrate into camps of extremes - to ignore the numerous radical environmentalist movements, some of which enjoy wide support from our college campuses, is to ignore the threats they pose to humanity.
