Our D and This Saturday

I hear a lot of folks concerned or commenting badly on the D the last few games. Based on what all we lost last year, we all were concerned about the D going into the season. When they came out and played so well and were beating expectations, everyone was so stoked. Now that they've regressed some, we're all concerned. I think we are about where we expected the D to be. Not many expected this team to go 12-0....everyone pointed to next year being the year. I think we all expected to win the Atlantic but not sure how many saw this coming.
So yeah....we're playing a hot UNC team. Everyone is concerned about the D vs them. I for one think we will be fine. I believe and trust in Dabo, Coach V and the rest of the staff in having them ready and focused this week. I think we see a different Clemson team...one we saw earlier in the season because so much is at stake this Saturday. I believe we will make enough stops because to me, UNC seems to thrive on the big play and I think we keep that to a minimum this weekend. I don't see their D stopping Watson and our offense. And can't wait for our Tiger faithful to surprise Fedora who seems to think they will have the home field advantage.
So, yeah...there's been reason for concern but that's all out the window this week. Get ready for an ACC title and punching our playoff ticket! Tigers 45-20 over the cheaters.

I saw a team Saturday that did not play with the same emotion and desire that we've seen earlier in the season. Maybe a little complacent? Not sure. And we faced a SC team that had nothing to lose and played loose. I think UNC may come in a little tight this weekend - we are by far the hardest team they have faced all season. I just we keep UNC from making the big plays that they've succeeded on and make enough stops to win the game. I don't see their D stopping us. I think we see a more focused and fired up Clemson team this Saturday night. Just don't think it will be as close as some think. I usually always side with talent and we definitely have more of that than the cheaters. I know some of our guys are banged up but think they lay it all on the line this weekend and then use the month before the semi-finals to rest and heal up. Dabo and his staff will have this team ready.
I believe and love the Tigers and have 100% confidence in them. How can any true fan not think we will win this weekend?

forget about those? Now, I don't have an explanation as to what went on during the second half Saturday, but I'm not going to start thinking out D has no chance Saturday.

Wytiger: For one. don't blitz the safeties or line them up 5 yards from the LOS. Second, if Ben B. is not 100% start someone else. I respect him for all of his great efforts but if not 100% he could hurt us and am sure he would not want that. Third, on O if they play way off us, don't try to force it. Take the short passes and passes over the middle to Leggett until they begin to creep up, then go long.

Our defense practiced all season against the same offense UNCheat runs. I don't think the tarholes have enough imagination to change their offensive phylosophy to trick us.
Ball security + (gallman/fuller/watson, 100yd running game) = ACC Championship!!!
