It's gonna be fun when we bring home the title.

All what OU has proven this year is that they can actually beat a backup QB

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

When are nerds going to learn football is played on a field

not in a computer!!! Those same nerds had Clemson getting blown out by Oklahoma last year.

As a computer geek, stats do have some merits, but...

the thing about it is it's not perfect.

In that article, they say Clemson is the weakest because of what they're referred to as "SRS". I haven't really looked into it, but I'm pretty sure wins and losses will have a factor in that final value.

Now, what does this mean?

If, say, Michigan State didn't recover that punt snap and run into the endzone, it would have lost and the score would have been lower.

That said, do you think the Michigan State that lost in that scenario and the Michigan that actually won would be a different team?

Of course not. Maybe the winning team would play better psychologically, but basically they're the same team.

If Clemson played just like teams in the Big 12--running up the score with the starters in the 4th quarter, well, it would have been easy to do as most defense would have got tired by then and they're already beaten. Then, Clemson's score would have been higher.

Anyhow, I'm not surprised by the article. Every team wants to find something good to write about their team.

Anybody get his reference to Caveman Ball for the Big 10?

Let them think what they want to think.

More fuel for the fire.
Stoudt beat OU 40-6.

OU may score 34 this year, but Clemson will score 56.

The 31st seems so far away.
Go Tigers!
