I’m sitting here thinking over the last 3 to 5 years about how many times we barely beat some average teams in the ACC well now with the transfer portal those average teams have been able to get a good quarterback or a good running back or stiff stiffen up their defense so now because we have become a dominant team like we should have been those other teams have passed us and we are just seeing what could’ve very well been the last four or five years where we were barely beating average teams in the ACC

It’s not just the transfer portal but also NIL.

Parity has increased across the board in CFB and it’s a good thing really.

The days where one or two teams dominate a conference are coming to an end.

Just look at the SEC this year.

Clemson has definitely fallen off less than other teams have improved. Parity sucks if you were on top before. I bet the average age of starting players is up, because teams are portaling in experienced buys to start. There are less freshman and sophomores getting the starting nod.
