Option Quarterback - Pro Style Quarterback

Problem is simple -- We need an option Quarterback to run the offense that Clemson runs and DJ is a pro-style quarterback -- will that fix all the problems ??? No, but it will be a step in the direction we need to go ( maybe as soon as Saturday ?? )

Option QB- the option QB is the ""KEY COMPONENT TO AN OPTION FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE SCHEME"" His ability to make decisions within the context of the play directly affects the offenses ability to move the ball. If the QB is unable to do this consistently, the offense will ""struggle"" to maintain any sustainability.

DJ was a highly rated ""PRO_STYLE QUARTERBACK"" _ he has been forced to be something,he is not. That is on the coaches ( ALL THE COACHES )

I wish DJ nothing but the best and have loved every win he has given us. We all learned early in life,that a square peg,will not fit in a round hole ( most of the time** )

Somewhere this week, I read where Dabo said DJ is our leader and has only had "TWO" bad games -- well now he has had ""THREE"" -- we won ""ONE"" of those games and it was the one where he sat DJ on the bench and let him cheer Cade on,and be a great teammate. Hoping he might see the light and make a change this Saturday ??

Whatever happens in the next two games,I'll still be yellin',cussin',and screaming, for my Tigers to win -- we have seen our Tigers accomplish things in the last 15 years,that none us dreamed about !!!! There will be more -- just hoping to hang around a few more years to see*__________GO TIGERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally agree. Said when we recruited DJ as the top Pro Style QB to a thriving Option program that Clemson had made a bad choice and DJ accepted a bad choice. Whether DJ could have ever made it in the NFL was decided that day. Clemson’s not built for a pro style and never will be.

And Dabo unwillingness to adapt to change is hurting Clemson’s program that he built. Outside of Georgia, ever game I watch, it’s transfers making key plays and winning games.

Well said, my friend I’ve been saying this since he became the starter.

Wrong style for the offense we’re running. Everyone wanted him but the mistake is signing the pro style QB and jamming him into the option offense and thinking it will work.

Hoping for some great things next year with Cade , who was listed as a Pro-Style and Option QB in the rankings depending on which one you read** -- Christopher Vizzina is also listed as a Pro-Style QB --
