Nebraska from 1993 to 1997 is probably the best ever. They lost 1 game in 1993 that they should have probably won and then 2 games in 1996 in shocking upsets, but they still finished 60-3.
I can see future Clemson senior classes accomplishing that.

No, from 1993-1997, Nebraska was indeed 60-3.

Clemson's graphic in the story is measuring in four-season spans, while 1993-97 would be five seasons. So Nebraska's best four-year run in that stretch was 49-2, which left them just short of that top-10 in wins.

The list was most 'wins' in a 5 year period and it didn't go back to the 1990s.
I was talking about the best record over a 5 year period.
