We always stand on the Upper Deck concourse and watch them pass under it, then head to our seats and wait for The Hill.
Ahh, traditions. I can't wait till 8/31...what's taking so dang long...and how's that beer coming?

lots of these kids are crazy, especially the pep band.
When I was there, there were no music scholarships . These students did it on there on.
I knew several over the years. Very dedicated.
I take offense when some degrade them.
we are not a wine and cheese school, except on Saturday .
The Orange Bowl march in Miami was something to behold in '81 .

As a member of the band, we absolutely love the support. Best place in the world is standing on the field when the team comes to the hill.
Both of my parents were in the band in 81, they have some stories!

although he played high school football (he was also All West Tn band) he enjoyed the band marching down to the stadium as much as he did the game. Of course we were playing Duke or some other easy team so the game wasn't in doubt.

Clemson, so I love Tiger Band. I love the band so much I took their name for my nickname on here.
I make a generous annual contribution to CUTBA. I'd love to see the band get bigger and better.
It really ticks me off when our own fans malign the band. They show up every game. To me the game would not be the same without them.

There are these four older gentlemen who tailgate near us and bring their instruments. They then proceed to the corner and play TigerRag while we all stand around basking in the ear pleasuring goodness. Its absolutely a sight to see. I urge everyone to try and make it out to witness the event which takes place just north of the hill; after the Tiger band takes its stroll down the road and fires the cannon. I'll have to video and post it this year for all to see. Its a wonderful tradition they've created and I look forward to it this season!

I think it's so cool watching them dance when they are playing the tiger rag at the end of the song when the drums take over. When I was in high school, the band director thought that people came to football games to hear the band. It was annoying to hear them play the whole time especially the way they butchered songs. Love listening to the tiger band, especially with 80,000 behind them clapping in unison

at the champs bowl a few yrs. back we (unluckily) had to sit right next to the colorado band, and at an old kick-off classic game (n.c. st. vs. iowa) we had to sit right next to the iowa band, and when i say right next to, i mean the only thing between us and them was the aisle! l like bands, but that is entirely too close for any type of enjoyment.

As a Tiger Band alumni myself, I really enjoy watching the band go by and then following behind. And I can also tell you the band loves having the people follow them down (except when they don't pay attention and run into the back of the band when the parade stops!). It's a great feeling to be leading a huge mob of orange-clad fans.

Tiger Band marches in step and cranks up Tiger Rag, the hair on my old neck stands up, and I clap and cheer as if I were in school again. They might not have as many members or as many fancy steps as others, but they are OUR band and I've been d@mn proud of them for many, many years!

I marched with them as a child, marched with them as a member in Tiger Band Drumline '83-'87, and march every year in Alumni Band at Homecoming. LOVE IT!!!
