I think we were trying to score a TD.
I also think LSU knew virtually all of our signs bc they dialed us up on D.

I think thats more indicative of ineptitude along the offensive line than a shift in philosophy. Our "veteran" unit kept getting knocked back all night. Although to be fair, O-line is always Clemson's Achilles heel. Last night was just worse than normal.

Watching our offense and then watching lsu run these orbit motion into counters, and fake screen into a counter was like watching the history teacher run his middle school offense vs watching a pro.
Not even close.
Our core offense hasn’t changed since like 2013

This. We haven't adapted in several categories and that is one. It's obvious that Dabo is very slow to change rhings and it seems in some categories he absolutely refuses to.
But in the end the biggest problem is we just don't have elite talent and depth anymore. Throw in the coaching stuff and it's a disaster. I can see 4 losses this year coming up if we don't at least make some big adjustments on offense. Staring with Ga Tech. And be careful this Saturday. Remember last time we played Troy?

I told my wife that Cade was going to run it on the last play. And we could tell as soon as he got the ball, so could LSU. Receivers were supposed to block downfield. He had more carries than Randall.

Everybody is caught up on 4th and 4. I want to know why we didn't run it on 3rd and 4. Two downs to get it, plenty of time, and they were not looking run because we had given up on it.

Designed roll out, Cade’s first option was to attack it and pick up 5 yards. LSU was killing us with that spy, their defense was too athletic for a play like that!

Didn’t work the last time we tried it on 3rd down either. Don’t understand the mental gymnastics that said that was our best play with 4th and game to go.

I think it was a Cade run all,the way, but LSU had a spy LB who knew exactly what was coming and blew it up. Terrible design IMO.

Wesco ran to the sticks and cut ininsideon 4th, he took a step inside and then went long. And, on 4th down, Klubnik never ticked the ball as he rolled out and was running full speed.
Makes me wonder if Wesco was supposed to drag across the middle but ran the wrong route.

Watch the 3rd down play before that. Cade checked into the correct play because LSU brought 7 on a blitz, but they still busted.
Cade locked in on Wesco and never took his eyes off him. He had Tyler Brown wide open. Possibly would have scored. At the minimum we would have been inside the 5.

we had called went up in smoke. And on the flip side, we didn't blitz much, and when we did, we didn't get there.
