I just read the following stat. Since Dabo Swinney took over at Clemson in 2009, the school has had only three offensive linemen drafted into the NFL. Alabama has had 14, Ohio State 11 and Oklahoma 10. That sounds like an opportunity area to me.

We've never had OL go to the NFL.

This era has been better than any other even though there are only 3.

Wrong. Go back to the 70's and 80's when football was football and we had OL in the league.

The looming problem on OL became obvious when Mitch Hyatt

was as good as a freshman as he was as a senior and then didn’t get drafted (as I recall). Throw in the 2 years or so of signing a couple of OL total with the ton of OL signees that quit, left, or had medical problems and, well, here we are.
