I'm guessing he will get a new trial. One of the jurors said she was affected by the comments of the Clerk of Court. Wonder how much those sleaze ball lawyers of Murdaugh paid her.

I don’t think they had to. In my opinion he deserves a retrial. You can’t have interference like that in the jury room and call it a fair trial. Now it’s my opinion with the financial crimes he’s not getting out of jail. Drop the murder charges. No need for the state taxpayers to pay millions for a retrial just to say he was guilty in paper. I know if I was a family member I may feel differently but that’s how I would let the cookie crumble.

Totally agree. But the State can't ignore two cold-blooded murders.

You honestly think that women had the power to persuade a juror? How in the hell could she do that. Makes no sense to me.

Sorry judge I’m pretty stupid and this little old lady here said some things that I just feel I can’t un hear.

#### juror was paid. Not rocket science. He is guilty as hell and we are going to waste more money proving the same thing when he is never getting out of jail anyways. #### our government is stupid.

You've got that right. Stupid doesn't even cover it. Just like finding someone guilty of murder, life sentence with no parole, but then trying him again for a hate crime.

That’s just wrong. Financial crimes will not get you a life sentence. If these is no violent crime, he gets out in a few years. Only the feds make you serve an entire sentence. There is a pretty famous scammer in GA that got close to 20 felonies in numeeous jurisdictions. He got 20 years on two of the felonies. All the remainder sentenced him to the same thing the initial judge gave him. Running concurrently. 20 to serve 5 cut to 3 if he paid back a little money. Served 1.5 years and was cut loose by GA. Stole millions from dozens. Almost no one got their money back.

I hope he enjoys the rest of his life while he's at the prison in McCormick. He deserves it.

If possible I hope the state goes for the death penalty next time. Might make him have second thought about a retrial. No need to house and feed him for 30-40 years.
IMHO
