Some in this board are so fixed on her race that their disdain for a successful, fairly quiet, humble black female who has had a positive impact on her school, her team and her state. Wish our board would leave her alone.
Now our women’s basketball coach …. Not so successful.

I am Native American. We were not enslaved, we were near annihilated. My people had it worse than Black Americans. My ancestors didn't get chained, they got shot and intentionally exposed to lethal disease.
Guess what? Not a bit of that effects me today. Are there people who don't like me because of my race? Sure. Do I care? No! I don't! I have every opportunity I need to be successful. I chose to succeed.
I can honestly say, the only racism I have ever perceived has been from Black Americans. When I was in school, I was the only non black person on basketball team. I sat with the team at a women's game on a night we didn't play. Several of them told me that we can hang when we playing ball, but when we not playing ball you not part of this. From that point on, I hung with my white friends almost exclusively. Did it scar me for life? Heck no. Did it cause me to be a failure? No.
IMO, all these "victims" of "racism" can kiss my tail.

Probably not many, I know she said that growing up in Philly she did not see many white people until she got to UVA. I am sure she has had some issues because of her race, but she has thrived in our country and become very successful despite those challenges. i just don't like the cancel culture mentality particularly one based on an alleged comment. So was a little surprised the university allowed it, but they love to win and are willing to do this for her I guess.
