It comes so late..been too many days/weeks since last game..the opponents are both Northern & Yankee teams..
And, being on a Monday in late January seems a bit foreign and/or distant in itself..
Plus the college football natty game itself is a bit irrelevant in overall importance to mankind compared to a new American Administration being ushered in and installed on same day that could save or hurt our nation and the World with its policies & results over the next 4 years.
Saying..this year’s (last year’s actually) natty seems trivial to life’s real struggles in 2025 which basically is the case every year..
Unless it’s Clemson being a contestant.

I watch the Presidential inauguration no matter who gets elected. I only watch the national championship game if I have a bet riding on it, or Clemson is playing in it.

1. Move the Bowl games from Aug 15 thru Labor day. (Teams not in bowls could schedule a game the last Saturday in August.)
2. Play a 10 game regular season with 2 bye weeks. (11 games total)
3. Start the season (2025) on 9/6. It would end 11/22 (12 weeks later)
4. Have a 16 team playoff (11/29, 12/6, 12/20 and championship game on Jan 1, 2026.)
See how easy that is? 😁🤷♂️🤷♂️😁

Leave the bowls at the end of the season but start a week earlier.
Use the rest of your ideas.
Season over by a week or week and 1/2 into January.

not gonna' slide by with "policies that could benefit or hurt the next four years". Do you mean this phrase for 2020 election and you're just four years late? Disastrous last four years, maybe the worst in American history as far as regression and softness, allowing an invasion, and being "Led" in the way we were. Nothing but positive energy flowing now, with new ideas, security of our nation, and standing up to rogue nations. No way to bounce but UP from here.... I agree… I had forgotten that it’s tomorrow. Personally I’m looking more forward to the inauguration than a football game I had forgotten about.

There is only UP from what we suffered due to the vices of the insufferable these last 4yrs. I am looking forward to a day off from the grind to celebrate Trump Day and the NATTY!
I just think it's wonderful we get to share 3 celebrations on a National level in a singular day.
MLK Jr bday, Presidential Inauguration, and end it with the NATTY and wings!
