Q for anyone at the ACCCG in the 500 level.

I know I’m getting up there in years but I thought the BOA PA was among the worst I’ve ever heard. Or, not heard to be more accurate. Sounded like the announcers (and refs!) were speaking with a mouth full of marbles. 75% was just unintelligible.
Maybe I’m spoiled by the sound system at Death Valley, but I would have expected better at a NFL stadium.
On the plus side at BOA, is there anyway to retrofit escalators at Death Valley? I told ya I was getting up there in years!

We commented a couple of times that we couldn’t make out anything the announcer was saying at the game. On the plus side, we were on row 12 in section 517 about 25 yard line and the view wasn’t bad at all.

anything from the PA. It was bad from the anthem to Dabo's speech. But if you watch the TV broadcast, you can here the PA just fine.
BOA needs a sound engineer. I think the problem is having a set of speakers on each end, and the sound waves bounce into each other.

We were in that section as well. I didn't hear much of what the announcers said at all. After the game, my wife even brought it up that she couldn't understand them as well. I know to watch the officials, and I know what the penalty signals are.

I was in 515 and I told the people around us that if there was an emergency we would have no clue. BOA being an nfl stadium should be better than that Saturday night.

The PA was awful! The entire stadium experience was bad. We had seats 1 and 2 in the 500 section and the aisle was nonstop with people going up and down. Most pro stadiums have food and beer vendors…
Each year the ACC gets cheaper and cheaper regarding the fan experience as ticket prices increase.
Ink and Ivy was great! Fan fest not so much. Free giveaways terrible. Win over UNC was amazing!!!!

They don't have brand name vendors anymore? Went to a Panthers game (been a few years) and had Wendy's on one club level. Super expensive than your normal Wendy's burger but I guess you pay for the convenience.

Not a big Food Lion fan? ?. I agree Fanfest was a joke. Ink and Ivy was so crowded before the game we skipped it and went to Graham St Pub which was also crowded but not quite as many deep at the bar. Went to Ink and Ivy after the game and had a great time. Saw one beer vendor come into our section the whole game - just in time for him to be calling last call.

dig at the BOA on their row numbering. Almost caused a fight! Due to the wreck on Indepence Blvd we were about 10min after the kickoff getting to our 500 level seats.
I had 8 seats in each of row 1A, 1B, and 1C. There were six younger folks in the 1A seats when we arrived. I politely asked if they were in the correct seats? They insisted they were and pulled up their mobile tix (which are hard to see!). I pulled mine up and confirmed I had the correct Section, Rows and Seats.
The youngsters were insisting they were in their seats and weren’t moving - one even made a slashing motion across his throat saying “no way are we moving!”
So, I got an usher and after a long time trying to read both phones she realized the youngsters were in the wrong seats! And, they grudgingly moved while glaring at me!
Now, part of this is on BOA! The row numbers from the bottom are 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D. THEN they start with Row 1, 2, 3, etc. So, the Pnut Gallery had seats in Row 1 - not Row 1A. Easy to think Row 1 would be the first row but not at BOA where Row 1 is actually Row 5.
Why would they do that?
Anyway, great game and,
Go Tigers!
