Oconee Point is a nice and clean gated park with level shaded camping spots. Very basic, electric and water hookup only. No cable, no sewer. Easy 5/10 minute ride back to The Valley. Coming out of the park take a left on to Coneross Rd. to stop sign, veer right on to Martin's Creek Rd. Go to stop sign and take a left to Shiloh Rd, left on Shiloh Rd. to first rigth at the old Fishing Hole store. That road will bring you across the lake to the old Y Beach to stop sign. Turn right on Hwy 93 stadium 1 mile ahead on right. Plenty of easy parking with about a 3/4 mile walk to stadium if you park at the old Y Beach. Parking about $20+.

At conerross and twin lakes. All are part of the corps of engineers campgrounds. No cable. No sewer. Just water and electricity. Beautiful sites. No alcohol allowed so use your solo cups or drink inside your camper. Twin Lakes stays open late for night games. Connerross does not. Only until 10. Verify when you check in. If they close the gate, be prepared for a hike or if you have two vehicles, leave one inside the gate.

If my memory serves me we,, that is a great place for hunting arrow heads. My years at Clemson were also spent walking through muddy fields after rain, looking for something that "don't just look right." Oconee Point was one hot spot.
