KB needs to learn from DWs tape that there will be mistakes, interceptions, bad calls, etc...
But one thing that separated DW4 the champion from the rest was his composure during the storm of college football. No matter the score, what had happened on the previous drive or where we were on the polls he didn't let it fuel him. He stayed humble and focused on the present moment.
Which reminds me-- Over the past 3 years of Clemson football the moment that separated the emotional peaks and valleys of previous seasons (even all the way back to Bowden and before) was our defeat of #6 ND during that torrent of rain. That game was something else -- My family and I soaked in this lovely game from the upper decks. Somewhere within the second quarter, the massive screen above the hill lit up with a doppler radar live feed that more severe weather was headed our way and Death Valley roared with cheers, because the tiger faithful wasn't going anywhere... we knew something special was on the way.
So as Dabo would say, it's time to pay the price. The touchdowns and championships of yesterday wouldn't give us success in our season today. But, Clemson isn't going anywhere...
As long as we continue to build on this foundation laid by Dabo & Co. and the players that have moved on we should be just fine. Now all we have to do is hunker down and trust that we'll be just fine. So weather the storm KB, because that's what separates the men from the boys.
