(http://www.tigernet.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=18155596#18155596)I thought our pass D by the LBs was our biggest weakness and I think NC Stayut exploited that a lot during the game. We don't have an LB that can cover someone like Cook if he slips out into the open field on a quick pass.
Far be it for me to question the best coach we've had in decades in BV but I hope he gets it fixed. You know Jimbo is gameplanning to replicate what State did since they're the only O to have any sustained success against us this year.
We might be missing Wiggins more than I realized.

out and create matchups with our LBs. Cook is excellent catching the ball and should be a huge part of the plan. Also need to get the TE/H-back involved. We are extremely vulnerable over the middle.
Our safeties are out of position more than we would like. That's where you beat this defense.
The good news is, everyone knows this but hasn't been able to do a very good job outside of NC St and ND in the 4th quarter.
The other good news is we have been able to out score everyone.

Many of us and most everyone can see that Clemson has a weakness in the D regarding crossing routes that pit LBs vs WRs and RBs. These are usually slower developing and have the throw going to the 3rd option.
I believe that Coach BV's remedy is impactful pressure on the QB, so he does have comfortable time to allow that stretch mismatch to occur and the field to open up to the weakness.

A lot of it also can be attributed to the size, speed and strength of Brissett. Could not bring that guy down a lot, and it led to some completions. Also, I feel NCSU got away with some serious holding calls that also extended plays. Golson is quicker, but a lot easier to bring down. Maguire is big and strong like Brissett, but not as mobile.
