I dip no food in ranch dressing. I occasionally eat it on a salad. We have one child who has this dipping addiction. She'll dip most any food in most any dip. I don't know how she lost her way.

Not Thousand Island Dressing recipe

Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon mustard seed
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon celery seed
2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Instructions
Stir mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, horseradish, garlic, chili powder, mustard seed, black pepper, and celery seed together in a bowl. Fold chopped eggs into dressing. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until flavors blend, at least 3 hours.

pizza place on the coast kept bottles of French Dressing on the tables. It didn't matter if it was a hole in the wall joint or an upscale wood-fired pizza restaurant. I've never seen that anywhere else.
And you know what? It was pretty good.
