UGa has a lengthy history of players getting arrested and having run-ins with the law. Similar to UofSC a few years ago, rather than addressing the character of their players, the University actually accused the local police of targeting football players.

before the TCU game. No matter how UGA fans want to spin it, current UGA culture is a direct reflection of their head coach. As long as they keep winning championships that will be just fine. Winning covers a lot of stink.
Also, and this is not UGA's fault, this is a byproduct of NIL. Once the genie was out of the bottle and boosters were legally buying more and more players performance cars (Dodge Charger apparently being the primary choice) with no restrictions, you were bound to have a percentage of these U21 "student athletes" abuse them.
But it'll only be for jersey sales and autograph sessions they told us - LOL.

What's the deal with Kirby's address to the team in the locker room? He dropped some "F" bombs? I recall that upset some here after he did that prior to the Florida game. They were terribly offended.
Let's not pretend we don't know why coaches like Saban, Kirby, and Dabo rake in North of 10 mil per year. It's to win championships. Let any of them revert to 8 or even 9 wins and see how long they get that kind of payday.

Yes Dabo makes a similar salary...BUT he does not operate nearly the same as Saban or Smart when it comes to situations like this.

Remember how the narrative changed last year about Dabo after he continually played DJ, when it was evident to everyone watching the kid was in over his head? Remember all the angst about assistant coaches Remember? Remember how little "culture" talk there was in light of these other converns? Let Dabo drop three games this year and see how many posters here are still hailing him for grad rates or the virtue of his players.

That was my first thought as well. I have no idea what kind of culture Kirby is building. Is he building it with the NFL/NBA model that superstars get super treatment? Is he building it with the Al Davis "Just win, baby" model?
Is he building it with the Urban Meyer - Jimbo Fisher model where off the field matters don't matter, if you're good enough on the field.
If he's following the Meyer/Fisher model then he will have short term success, but not longevity. Especially in this day of NIL the culture will deteriorate and off field character will slide into locker room character which will slide into on the field character.
Nothing we can do about it, but watch and wait.
