Does a 21-10 (11-9) record get Clemson in the NCCAT this year?

Maybe so…given our better pre-ACC caliber of teams as compared to last season?
I was looking at Duke, UVa, UNC, WF, and one inexplicable game as losses.
I would love to see this team win two or three of those above and avoid the historical bad loss or two down the stretch. That would get them in with ease.
It’s really up this group of guys. They are talented enough.

The bigger question is will our record be that good?! I’m not seeing it BrownL has a penchant for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. It’s like they do no film study of opposing teams. It also seems he can’t get the personnel combo right for who we’re playing. He can’t seem to keep the “hot hands” on the floor at time. It appears the players get lazy at times as they stop working hard to get the open shot. There’s no reason this group shouldn’t be a tough out in the NCAAT except for the head coaches ability.

overcome that or play above average inside the current structure.
I think there’s enough talent to do so.
They can play better individual defense on the perimeter without Brad intervening it that part. Duke has a decent 3pt shooting percentage as a team and spreads the floor. I would like to see the team shut that down Saturday and win this one.

like we had last year, I think 21-10 gets you into the Dance.
That said, Clemson would have to go 8-5 over its last 13 games and, honestly, I just don't see that happening.
The team can't afford another GT debacle so with three games remaining against the leagues bottom dwellers (including another game against GT), Clemson absolutely must win all three of those games. The concern I have is that we'll totally **** the bed against Louisville and Notre Dame. We already did that against BC and GT.

If we finish at 21-10 (11-9) and are 5th or higher in the ACC that should get us in this year. Last year a 3rd place finish didn't get us in, but they put the lower NCSU in over us.

Several ugly Quad 4 losses is what kept Clemson out last year.***

The last 13+ years have been largely irrelevant...

and I think we all know why. At some point, you can no longer realistically shift CBB's failures to historical performances that occurred prior to his arrival. This has been his team for the last 13+ seasons, so accountability is now entirely on him. He can't be Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and constantly blame anyone and everyone else for their abject failures.

CBB has made a post season tournament 53.8% of his seasons at Clemson...

This includes NCAA and NIT. For reference, Clemson football has made a post season appearance 100% of time during that same span.

With the preseason wins and no bad losses, yes.
but we currently have a losing record in the ACC and ending up with a losing record may not get us into the NCAAs.
There have been Brownell seasons in the past where the preseason results (competition/wins) were great but then we didn't do well in the ACC and didn't get into the NCAAs.

Talent isn’t in question, grit will have to take over for a final four run.
Knock down our threes with tired legs, to do that you have to practice 3’s winded with tired legs.
This team could end with a special run but they have to work for it!
TO practiced knocking down 3’s with tired legs, he was the best 3 point shooter we’ve had in my lifetime.

TO ranks 120th on the ACC's all-time list of three point shooters. There are several other Tigers who rank ahead of him including Shawan Robinson (79), Will Solomon (71), Andre Young (44), Cliff Hammonds (31), Terrell McIntyre (27), KC Rivers (19), and Joe Girard (4).

We've reached our ceiling in BB a long, long time ago
Hoping for an NIT championship is our pinnacle of success.
Had Barnes or Ellis stuck around that may have changed our projectory.
