it was time for a change. That program has been regressing for years now. Makes you wonder if she resigned or was told to though. Very few people just resign a job.
Maybe this might be a trend toward results in the athletic department.

Pretty confident she got the boot. This team used to be the class of the ACC with Davis. Hopefully will find a good replacement.

Look Coach Green up.
Head Coach at Liberty. 9 conf championships/NCAA appearances in 10 years. And one sweet 16 appearance.
Was top asst with Jim Davis from 1987-99, the most successful period in WBB.
No brainer.

I love how schools do this lol.. She was fired.. Flat out.. Noone is going to resign from a D-1 job.. Do the universities think we actually believe these people resign? It's just dumb.. If they actually resigned we wouldn't be paying them buyouts of their contracts

I'm sure Coach McKinney is a class act, but I'm happy to hear this news. The women's basketball team has become an embarrassment under her watch.

the losing record by saying they played the 15th toughest schedule. What about all the other years? She was a freaking horrible coach who should have never been hired here in the first place. They wanted someone cheap and they got what they paid for. Ante up, get someone in here who can do the job or drop women's basketball and add softball, bowling, legos or whatever.
