Atmosphere is not even close to later games, No time to tailgate, Have to get up at the crack of dawn,
Only good for TV viewers, not for people going to the games

Plus, traffic won't be as bad since the coots are used to leaving at halftime or during the 3rd quarter.

Noon games are better, yeah you get up early but get home at a decent time.

When I was a whipper snapper all of our games were around noon.
That was the fun of it. Just get your lazy a$$ early and go to
the game or turn on the tv at noon and quit whining like a little
girl.

All I know is that when I started at Clemson in 1969, Games started at 1PM when the P Plant whistle blew. They usually were over between 2:30 to 3PM. How things have changed. They call it progress.

I Loved Noon Games as a Student in the 80s

With Proper drinking planning you could start partying downtown around 11 or 12PM then move on to after hours parties and party hard till sun-up. Then shower, eat and drink again till and in game. By Saturday 4PM you were destroyed but it was fun.
