I predict there will be an "Oust David Tepper" movement amongst the NFL

hiearchy very soon, if it has not ALREADY started. The NFL does not like publicity that embarrasses the league, and Tepper does that just about all the time. IF they could get a "do-over", they would probably never approve his purchase of the Panthers franchise to begin with.

Not a bad unethical guy like Snyder. It took about a decades work to get Snyder out, and I see no reason other owners would have to make a behind the scenes move on Tepper.

out when they push back against him on certain organizational issues, etc, but none have said anything close to what Snyder did (and took forever to get him to sell) or Jerry Richardson or any other owners who recently were nudged out because they became a detriment to the league. It's almost impossible to get the other owners on board and willing to push another out, publicly or privately.

I think his company, Appaloosa made $2B last year. He is a investor, a paper profit producer. He only has a small number of employees based in New Jersey now. The Panthers employ more staff! NFL is not forcing him out, but he would profit somehow.

I mean yeah, I guess it's not as bad as SA'ing someone, and there have been plenty of guys who were worse, but an owner sitting in a luxury box throwing a drink out onto some random fan who can't even get to him to retaliate is just about as classless as it gets. I usually don't like the whole "rich people bad" bandwagon, but that just screams of someone who thinks he's above the rules, better than other people because he's rich, and just an absolute d-bag. So he'll get no sympathy from me. He's also extremely arrogant, doesn't seem to care at all about the fanbase, and has made remarkably dumb decisions and done a terrible job thus far of running the franchise. Now I'm no Panthers fan, so I don't particularly care, but for the sake of that organization and its fans I would love to see him ousted and I really hope it happens. But I also agree with y'all that the owners are out to defend themselves, so they'll probably be unlikely to vote someone out unless it becomes absolutely necessary because they don't want to make themselves vulnerable. But overall, I just think Tepper is complete jerk, and a foolish one at that.

I saw this act long ago in Baltimore. The man was Robert Irsay.

Tepper is cut from the same cloth and like Irsay he will move the Panthers. I predict they end up in London within the next 5 years. Regardless, there is nothing Charlotte can do about his ownership and just like he pulled out of Rock Hill he will move the team around the world or at least to another state. You can bank on it.

but the nfl literally gave him a slap on the wrist with the 300k fine for throwing a drink on the jaguars fan.
Tepper hasn’t done 1 good thing for that team since he got there. He constantly gripes to fans to hang in there and trust the process yet every year he sets that same process behind due to awful personnel decisions.
