Not when you have back to back common opponents and UL crushes them by the 1st quarter and we luck up for the win. Makes me sick.

Just win. Awards mean nothing if we don't win the conference and national title.
It will honestly be looked at as somewhat laughable if a kid wins the Heisman without even winning their DIVISION.
Has that ever happened before? Somebody look it up for me.

How valuable could a player possibly be if their team is unable to even compete for a conference championship?
If Spiller wasn't good enough when his team wasn't elite and competitive, then neither is anyone else.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you. Deshaun needs to have better stats and more impressive wins to get back in serious contention for that award. I hate that for him, I really wanted him to be incredibly decorated. He's such a great kid he deserves any award he may receive.
